Discussion of work to date by Yuko, Jessica, and Joe on microbes associated with the NITREX permeable reactive barriers Joe and Ken Foreman built in nearby beaches (e.g. Waquoit Bay). The barrier is designed to try to intercept and remove groundwater nitrate just prior to its discharge to coastal embayments.
